I use professional paints, so they are more lightfast than
some, but watercolors are more prone to fading than other paints. To prolong the life of your
painting, do not hang/display your painting in direct sunlight. You can also
frame your watercolor painting behind UV glass to help protect against fading.
My paintings are not sealed to protect against water damage. If the painting
gets wet, the watercolors will reactivate and alter the painting. Avoid hanging
original watercolors in high humidity rooms, such as bathrooms.
