Shipment of artwork varies depending on size and whether the piece is matted or not. Many of my smaller pieces are sold with a mat for easier framing upon receipt. The mat also doubles as an extra layer of protection for the art. Each piece will be placed in a clear bag to protect it from the elements, and then will packed in a rigid mailer or cardboard box with extra support to keep the piece protected. I ship most of my art via USPS, but other shipping options are available and may be used as needed.
Larger pieces may be rolled and packed in a mailing tube for shipping. This cuts the cost of shipping considerably, and is usually a fairly safe way to ship larger pieces of art. These pieces are not matted, so they can fit in the packing tubes. Instructions to help flatten your piece upon arrival will be included in your package if this is the method we choose to use. Each listing should explain which shipping method is used.
Finally, several of my larger fine art prints are shipped directly from the printing company to you, the customer. I have no control over how they ship those pieces, but please let me know if you ever have any issues with any of your shipments.
